Service Description

Join Ms. Yesenia from Yes2ArtKidz this fall for a joyful, hands-on art experience designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and confidence! Four Saturdays in the fall will invite children to explore art through open-ended projects inspired by the Reggio Emilla approach to learning which considers the environments of nature as a natural teacher. Our 4 projects over 4 Saturdays will encompass: Sensory Habitat & Weather Bottles, Leaf Prints, Painting Stones & Rocks, and Beans & Seed Mosaics Materials Included

The QArts Gallery is managed and operated by member volunteers. Hours vary weekly based on volunteer availability.

Parking

  • Metered parking on the street

  • Paid parking in the President’s Parking Lot located on Saville Ave. From either direction, look for the National Park Visitors Center on the corner of Hancock St. & Saville Ave. to park. The QArts Gallery is directly across the street from the National Park Visitors Center and Quincy College.

  • Weekends: Free parking behind the QArts Gallery in the MBTA lot. From either direction look for Starbuck’s on the end of our block on Hancock St. At that traffic light turn into the MBTA entrance and parking lot. You will need to walk a short distance around to the gallery’s front entrance on Hancock Street.
